Josh Hughes - Senior Land Manager

A Land Disposal Specialist

Josh began his career in 2017 at a Warwickshire-based rural land agency specialising in development consultancy and strategic land. In this role, he advised landowners, developers and investors on all aspects of the development process.

He later joined L&Q Estates as a Development Manager, where he focused on the disposal of consented land for both residential and commercial uses.

A strong track record in land sales and delivery

Following the acquisition of L&Q Estates by Urban&Civic in 2024, Josh transitioned into the development team. There, he played a key role in the sale and delivery of two major schemes: the Western Expansion Area of Milton Keynes, a 6,500+ home sustainable urban extension, and Wixams, a new settlement comprising 4,500 homes.

In April 2026, Josh joined Catesby Estates as Senior Land Manager, transferring across from Urban&Civic.

In his current role, he is responsible for land sales and plays an important part in advancing both new and existing commercial opportunities across the portfolio.
